While travelling in Uganda, I got into a situation where I really thought that the end was at hand. The road narrowed steadily, hand in hand with the declining quality of the surface, until we reached a point where there was no way even to call it a path. The car precisely fit the width of the path, leaving the minimum leeway to avoid falling off the cliff on one side and scraping the car against the rocks on the other. To add the imaginary icing on top of the cake, the entire stretch was covered with mud, and the fact that we had a 4WD vehicle didn´t help is as much as would have been desired.
Ubiquitous sun, hot weather, endless beaches, layers upon layers of blue and dazzling sand. For this picture, a majority would travel pretty long distances. Where are the most virginal beaches mirroring the Biblical paradise? Check out our list.
Meditation, according to its wider definition, can be considered a technique that relaxes the body and calms the thoughts to make the practitioner feel more comfortable, pleasant, and relaxed. In its narrower definition, meditation is a spiritual discipline that through the acquired skill of controlling the mind and body allows a deeper and closer contact with the practitioner’s mental state and his soul. It is a program by which the body and soul are aligned, connected, and merged with the goal of achieving a sense of freedom, joy, satisfaction, self-confidence, and happiness.
They say the best therapist has a fur and four paws. As it seems there is something to it. People who have a pet at home usually know what is it to come home and be welcomed with great joy by their four-leged buddy. No wonder, places where animals were typically forbidden, now welcome them. Pets now "work" at cafes, at airports, even in offices - and all that to share and spread the calm that they carry within.
For most people, an absolutely absurd idea. Houses that often have a maximum of one meter width are not on your everyday dwelling list. At the same time these cramped buildings often have an interesting history about their creation. With the rising prices of properties it is quite common that the building parcels are appearing in places where only garage might have been considered for construction. Extremely slender buildings are not just a phenomenon of the moderns day. As a matter of fact, they go back in time and can be found in many historical centres of cities till date.

Have you ever considered how much knowledge of English you have acquired at school in proportion to the entire language? The answer is: very little. Namely, that thing your English teacher probably omitted to say in the very first class, before you learned a single new word or tense, is that you are going to learn the differences between your native tongue and English.
To choose the right colors for the interiors requires the right concept, according to what effect you have decided to create. The final result can be monochromatic (in shades of one color), with the scale of cold colors or warm colors. Complementary colors stand in divergence with each other and interestingly can create a harmony in their contrast. What doesn’t look right on the first impression, can create surprisingly energetic and powerful combinations. Check out our gallery for inspiration.
Go out at any time to any place and I am sure you will not be hard-pressed to find at least one example of people trying to have power over others. Regardless of how awkward for some people it may sound, our world is based on alpha male mentality. We constantly try to take power, beginning in childhood. However, sometimes this impulse may grow into something negative or even dangerous – bullying. What is bullying, and what strategy is best for getting rid of it?
Fidel Castro and Ernesto "Che" Guevara – a cliché to say so, but still the main attraction for a visit to Cuba. Ask anybody and you´ll get a quite similar answer: „I want to see the country before it changes“. Traveling into a Marxist–Leninist socialist state is a different kind of holiday, catapulting you straight into history . . . Tourism in Cuba has been growing rapidly since the ‘80s. Tourism – now counting more than two million visitors per year – is one of the island’s main revenue sources. But obviously there is much more to this country than history and politics.
